Climate Quest is an interactive portal on the change in the global climate. Climate Quest contains information like quests, videos and so-called learning games.
Quests are assignments you can do alone or together, outside or on your PC. By doing these assignments and by playing games you will learn more about the climate change, and also how you can make your own contribution to reduce global warming. To assist you, we have included a climate library and a search engine.
In a way, Climate Quest is never finished. You yourself, assisted by your teacher if you want, can help to further build this portal by entering your own ideas, videos or your own climate games. Climate Quest more or less works the way Wikipedia does. You can also use this portal to chat with people your own age. Your teacher can subscribe your entire class, enabling you to do assignments as a Guild (team).
For teachers
This portal features a special Teachers’ Room where you can add and rewrite quests (assignments), check the scores made by your class and lots more. Climate Quest also has an extended climate library and a climate search engine, so that you will never run out of information or educational material. This means you can also use this portal as an additional reference work, or to find more material dealing with the climate change.
